Some kitchens just need new cabinets. This one needed a completely new life. When this homeowner came to us, they had a dark, closed-off kitchen that hadn’t seen an update in decades: cramped, chopped up, and working against how they actually lived.
What they wanted was a kitchen worth gathering in. We took it down to the studs and built them exactly that.
The entire layout was reimagined to open the space, removing the soffit and restructuring the ceiling to let the room breathe. Every cabinet was built custom in a white oak with shaker-style doors, light enough to brighten the space, but warm enough to feel like home.
The island anchors the room and seats four, making it the natural center of the home it was always meant to be. Glass-front uppers in the bar area add personality without losing function, and the continuous grain across the cabinetry gives the whole kitchen a sense of intention that you feel before you can name it.
White quartz counters, subway tile, and warm hardwood floors tie it all together – clean, timeless, and completely theirs.
