The house is built around a bold pairing: soft Ash Rose cabinetry against a moody, deep Urbane Bronze in the bar areas and built-ins, with warm bronze hardware carrying the accent through every room. It’s the kind of color choice that could easily go wrong (pink cabinetry isn’t the safe, default option) and it didn’t. As Wade put it walking through the finished space, it was a risk that paid off, the same way an earlier, equally bold color choice had for this family. The palette isn’t decorative for its own sake, either; it’s used consistently enough, room to room, that the house reads as one project rather than a series of unrelated renovations.
