Bigfoot Custom Cabinetry created a deep, arched slip-in cabinet with glass shelving, built to fit directly into a drywall opening for a genuinely custom look. This is the piece that gets discovered on a second walk through the house and then becomes the one guests ask about. It doesn’t announce itself the way a kitchen island or a hood does, but it rewards a closer look.

Urbane Bronze Slip-in Cabinet

Set into a rounded archway, the cabinet’s deep Urbane Bronze finish and full-arch glass doors give it the presence of a piece of furniture, even though it’s built straight into the wall. The arch itself is a detail worth pausing on: matching a curved opening with flat cabinet doors takes real precision, since every angle has to be measured against a curve rather than a straight wall.

The doors open a full 170 degrees for real access, revealing glass shelving sized deeper than most people expect from a slip-in piece. It’s deep enough to display serving pieces, not just line them up single-file. Below, six drawers with soft brass pulls provide storage that matches the display space above, so the whole piece functions as both a showcase and genuine storage rather than one or the other.
