design overview

Urbane Bronze Custom Wet Bar Cabinetry

Matching the coffee corner’s deep charcoal and bronze palette, the wet bar was designed as a clear visual echo of the coffee bar elsewhere in the house — same materials, same accent rail, different job to do. That repetition is intentional: it ties two separate rooms together as part of the same design story, so a guest moving from one end of the house to the other still feels like they’re in the same home.

A Wet Bar to Wow the Guests

A bar sink anchors the space, framed by floating shelves with the same bronze rail detail used throughout the house. Lit glass cabinets store drinkware and glassware – Wade made a point of only lighting the top shelf and leaving the bottom dark, a small lighting decision that changes how the whole wall reads.

Add a three-door storage cabinet, a 50-quart trash and recycling pull-out, and a panel-ready dishwasher built into the run, and it’s a bar built to actually host, not just look good doing it. Everything here was sized for entertaining, with enough glassware storage that hosting a full house doesn’t mean digging through the main kitchen mid-party.

This wet bar is part of a whole-home project in Appleton, and it’s the kind of entertaining space Bigfoot Construction builds for clients across Eastern Wisconsin, including Green Lake, Madison, Milwaukee, Kohler, Elkhart Lake, and Green Bay. If you host often and your home doesn’t quite have the space built for it yet, let’s talk about what that could look like.
